Aged Care Legislation Amendment (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Commissioner and Other Measures) Bill 2026

The question is that the amendments on sheet PJ127 be agreed to. Government's circulated amendments— (1) Clause 2, page 2 (table item 3), omit the table item, substitute: 3. Schedules 2 and 3 The later of: (a) the day after this Act receives the Royal Assent; and (b) 31 October 2026.

(2) Schedule 4, item 8, page 63 (line 27), omit paragraph 90B(4)(a), substitute: (a) unless paragraph (b) applies—the period prescribed in the rules; (3) Schedule 4, item 8, page 65 (line 15), after "must", insert ", within the period prescribed in the rules,". Question agreed to.
