Government's circulated amendments— (1) Clause 2, page 3 (table item 11, column 1), omit "Schedule 9", substitute "Schedules 8A and 9". (2) Page 76 (after line 26), after Schedule 8, insert: Schedule 8A — Stolen Generations redress and reparations payments Social Security Act 1991 1 After paragraph 8(8)(jc) Insert: (jca) a payment under a scheme (however described) established by a State to provide redress or reparations in relation to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander persons from the Stolen Generations; Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986 2 After paragraph 5H(8)(mb) Insert: (mba) a payment under a scheme (however described) established by a State to provide redress or reparations in relation to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander persons from the Stolen Generations; 3 Application of amendments The amendments made by this Schedule apply in relation to a payment made on or after the commencement of this item.
