Tribune’s note

Assistant Minister McBride used a single media release to consolidate the government's health, housing, and local infrastructure record for the Central Coast electorate of Dobell. The health focus was dominant: six new fully bulk-billed clinics across the Central Coast and Hunter, a tripled bulk-billing incentive lifting Dobell's bulk-billing practices from five to eight, and PBS co-payment reductions that have generated more than three million cheaper scripts locally.

The release also bundled housing tax reform and the Tuggerah Lake cycleway, presenting a broad cost-of-living frame anchored in the 2026 budget.
