The Minister for Emergency Management, Ms McBain, announced two five-year non-executive appointments to the National Capital Authority Board [TA-260713-infras-89670de79f51]. Ms Elizabeth Dibbs joins the board with a governance and legal background; she currently serves as Deputy Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for the ACT City Renewal Authority and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for the National Portrait Gallery of Australia [TA-260713-infras-89670de79f51].

Mr Stuart Hocking brings senior economic and finance credentials, having served as Under-Treasurer at ACT Treasury and as Chair of the Transport and Civil Infrastructure Board within the ACT Government. Together the two appointments add complementary legal and economic depth to a board that oversees planning and development in the national capital. The minister framed the selections as consistent with a portfolio approach of strengthening national institutions through specialised governance expertise.
