Searching the public records and reports on this site is free, and always will be. You pay only when you put those records to work with AI — your prompt is how you use them.
Subscribers get an allowance that resets every day, served by open-weight models. Credits are available to everyone, and buy the advanced frontier models when you need Answers, Research or Analysis.
Two things are free, permanently: the public records themselves, and the insights we build from them. Search runs across both.
You pay only for the third thing: putting your own prompt to the records through AI.
The mode sets what the model reads and how far it reasons. Cost then depends on the model behind it. Subscribers get Answer and Research off-meter, served by open-weight hosted models and subject to daily limits — no tokens counted. Frontier runs, and Analysis in every case, are metered on tokens, with the estimate shown before it runs. Listed lightest to heaviest. Start in Answer; Research and Analysis read further into the records behind the Notes. Notes are read automatically — there is nothing to load.
The three modes answer when you ask. AskTribune+ will keep working when you don't — monitoring the record and carrying out work with tools, on schedules, issues and tasks you set. Still being landed; not available yet.
Tokens are never spent without a number in front of you. Analysis is the heavy mode: it reasons across connections, not just breadth, so the terminal estimates first. The same confirm appears any time a prompt would run well past your usual.
At zero, nothing is deleted and nothing is locked. Searching the record, the Feed, the Archive and every citation stay free and open. Subscribers keep Answer and Research on open-weight hosted models, subject to daily limits — only frontier runs and Analysis pause until you top up.
